are different kinds of purity. First, there is perfect purity, the kind we will one day have in heaven. That’s the time we Christians “shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2). On that day, every single person who has put his trust in God is going to be one hundred percent pure, just as Christ Himself is pure. We will be as holy as God. That’s perfect purity, but it’s out there in the future. Second, there is positional purity, which is what Christ has done for us through His
